My name is Jacqueline Djourou, I’m originally from Ivory Coast. In 2015, I have completed my studies at the London School of Fashion. I have always been passionate about couture and fashion. Since my days in Africa, I was always one to be very aware of latest fashion trends which I would often replicate on myself and those around me. Living in Paris for over 10 years was definitely a major factor in my decision to pursue my ambition of being a business fashion entrepreneur after my children finished their studies.

 

The various brands on display and designs were very hard not to notice, they say Paris is the city of fashion and I completely agree. My African style was definitely influence by my time in Abidjan and Paris. I count London as the last city to have had an effect on my fashion style because of the multi-cultural composition of the city which has exposed me to many different styles and flair.

My creative designs aren’t solely inspired by African heritage, they also embrace worldwide cultures which form the foundation of my heritage.
